Decoustics Wall Mount is for panels and Planks installation with several options depending on the desire result. PANELS: A number of wall mounting options are available for panels including: mechanical, hook and loop, adhesive, and magnetic. Mounting hardware will vary based on the substrate and finish of the panel. PLANKS: Planks are installed over wood blocking or steel furring channels, of a thickness necessary to support the insulation. The horizontal blocking or steel furring channels are installed on 24″ (610mm) centers. The plank is configured with a tongue edge and a groove edge, which slip together to form a near monolithic joint (much like flooring).
