FlintPrime® QD is CertainTeed's solvent-based, highly penetrating, quick-dry asphaltic primer designed to promote adhesion when installing self-adhered modified bitumen base sheets and/or those applied by torch, cold adhesive or hot asphalt. Primer is used to increase adhesion of the membrane to certain substrates, where the membrane will be applied directly to the substrate (not mechanically attached). Enhance adhesion, wind uplift resistance and long-term performance of BUR and modified bitumen roof systems with FlintPrime®.
