Community Is Part of Our Purpose

Our purpose is to act every day to make the world a more beautiful and sustainable place to live.

An essential part of that is to connect with people and drive progress through community outreach, education partnerships, and a strong culture of volunteerism. This strategic approach to community impact enables us to meet local needs while empowering employees in the communities where they work and live.

Saint-Gobain Foundation

The Saint-Gobain North America Foundation is the corporate foundation of Saint-Gobain in North America since 2011. We believe there is a direct link between our business activities and helping to make the world a better home for all who live, work and play here. To this end, we provide financial support through grants to organizations that aim to deliver material change in the areas of sustainable habitat, STEM education and/or improve the quality of life in each community where we operate.

Volunteer Programs

We understand the power of people contributing their time, effort, or resources. We encourage our employees at all levels to be involved in their communities in whatever ways they can - while fostering a positive spirit of engagement with one another.

Direct Grants

The Saint-Gobain North America Foundation Direct Grants program supports non-profit organizations that share our mission to make the world a better home. We are especially interested in projects that relate to STEM education and/or sustainable habitat development.

Community Gifts

We never forget that we are members of the local community and stewards of the built and natural environments in which we live, work, and play. Through our Community Gifts program, we are able to show this support directly. Every Saint-Gobain site receives community gift funding that can be used to donate to qualifying local organizations and build holistic relationships.

Employee Matching Gifts

Saint-Gobain's dedication to philanthropy extends between corporate offices to our exceptional employees through our Matching Gifts program. Colleagues get 50% match for each donation made to their community partner of choice.

Employee Emergency Assistance Fund

You never know when unexpected circumstances will arise. The Employee Emergency Assistance Fund (EEAF) was launched to help employees cope and recover quickly after a natural disaster or personal hardship.
