Tested for Tough Weather
Impact-resistant shingles are tested using the industry-standard UL 2218 test, which simulates hail strikes. Steel balls are dropped from varying heights onto shingles to evaluate their ability to:

Shingles are rated from Class 1 to Class 4—with Class 4 offering the highest level of hail resistance
